Coconut butter is the unsweetened dehydrated fresh meat of a mature fruit of coconut ground to a solid white paste, and can be used as ingredient for food and beverages that require coconut flavor, such as sauces, soups, curries, tropical and Caribbean dishes, filling for chocolate confectionery, cakes, toppings, and desserts.

FUN FACT! The name coconut is derived from 16th century Portuguese sailors who thought the three small holes on the coconut shell resembled the human face, so they dubbed the fruit "coco" meaning "grinning face, grin, or grimace." The word nut was added in English later on.
Shelf life: One year if properly stored
Storage: Cool, dry, dark area. Coconut Butter can be refrigerated or frozen to extend freshness.
