FUN FACT! The cashew tree is native to coastal areas of Brazil. In the 16th century, Portuguese explorers took cashew trees from this South American country and introduced them into other tropical regions such as India and some African countries, where they are now also cultivated.

“Pecan” is a Native American word that was used to describe nuts requiring a stone to crack. Pecan trees only produce nuts every two years.

Shelf life: One year if properly stored

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark area. If stored at room temperature, oil may separate--stir before you enjoy! Sprouted nut and seed butters can be refrigerated or frozen to extend freshness.
