Sweet, rich, crunchy, and even higher in heart-healthy monounsaturated fat than olive oil: what’s not to love about macadamia nuts? They’re a rich source of thiamin, manganese and fiber and they contain five of the nine essential amino acids. Plus, studies show they lower LDL cholesterol levels, reducing risk of stroke and heart disease.
Macadamia nuts’ mild, creamy flavor makes them a great topper for salads, ice cream, yogurt, fish, and more. If you’re feeling creative, try them in baked or raw desserts, soups, dips, or even vegan cheese or cheesecake! If you’re not feeling so creative, never fear… macadamias are also a lovely snack all by themselves.
Our raw, organic macadamia nuts are sprouted using our custom Better Than Roasted (BTR) process, which maximizes the bioavailability of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. FUN FACT! Europeans thought they “discovered” the macadamia tree in 1858, but Aboriginal Australians had treasured the nuts for centuries as an energy-rich traveling snack and a valuable trading item.
Shelf life: One year if properly stored
Storage: Cool, dry, dark area. Better Than Roasted nuts and seeds can be refrigerated or frozen to extend freshness.
