We’ve finally done it! We’ve created a delicious, decadent cookie using raw, organic sprouted superfoods! Our Vanilla Macaroons are made of crisp coconut, sweet agave, and crunchy cashews, all topped with a rich cacao drizzle. Delicious and nutritious, they’re equally at home in fancy gift baskets and kids’ (or grown-ups’!) lunch boxes.
The rest of the world’s macaroons are jealous. A two-ounce serving of Chocolate-Dipped Vanilla Macaroons provides 3 grams of protein, 15% of your daily value of fiber, and 8% of your daily value of iron. Plus:
- Coconut provides an antifungal antioxidant called lauric acid.
- Cashews add vitamin K, magnesium, copper, thiamin, and manganese.
- Agave adds low-glycemic sweetness.
- Cacao adds anti-inflammatory and cancer-preventing antioxidants like flavonoids and catechins.
Our Raw Bakery™ produces raw, sprouted superfoods. The cashews in Vanilla Chocolate Dipped Macaroons have gone through our custom Better-than-Roasted™ sprouting process, which maximizes the bioavailability of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in our nuts and seeds. It also removes bitterness and concentrates flavor, yielding a sweeter, more easily digestible, and more flavorful nut. Read more about our BTR process HERE.
FUN FACT! What’s the difference between cacao and cocoa? Cacao is raw, less processed, and higher in antioxidants, and people have been eating it for thousands of years longer-- since about 1500 B.C.E., to be exact.
Shelf life: One year if properly stored
Storage: Cool, dry, dark area. Vanilla Chocolate Dipped Macaroons can be refrigerated or frozen to extend freshness.
