Each of the thirteen fruits in our Berry Powerful Trail Mix has its own superpower! Sweet-and-sour chokeberries are bursting with antioxidants. Intense blue bilberries contain anthocyanins, a key to eye health. Goji berries are a Vitamin A powerhouse. Plump, dark Bukhara raisins from Uzbekistan are pure fruity flavor.

There’s just no need to add artificial colorings, flavorings, sweeteners, or preservatives to all these deliciousness. Instead, we mix in raw, organic apricot kernels, almonds, coconut and cacao nibs for a boost of protein and heart-healthy unsaturated fats. All these colors, tastes and textures mingle to create a satisfying trail mix perfect for hiking, biking, and on-the-go snacking... or maybe it’s breakfast!

The apricot kernels and almonds in Berry Powerful Trail Mix are sprouted using our  Better Than Roasted (BTR) process, which maximizes the bioavailability of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. It also removes bitterness and concentrates flavor, yielding a sweeter, more easily digestible, and more flavorful nut. Read more about our BTR processHERE.

FUN FACT!British pilots in World War II claimed they could see better in the dark after eating bilberry jam. Later research found that bilberries are high in anthocyanins, a kind of antioxidant that protects eye function.
