Hazelnuts are high in vitamin E, an antioxidant essential to skin health. They’re also a good source of brain-boosting flavonoids and folate, a B vitamin that fights heart disease and depression. Cashews are high in thiamin, iron, magnesium, and the antioxidant vitamin K, and they also boast significant potassium, phosphorus, and zinc. Both cashews and hazelnuts are high in copper, manganese, protein, and fiber.

FUN FACT! Cashews and hazelnuts work together! Cashews are high in magnesium, almonds are high in vitamin E, and it just so happens that magnesium slows the digestion of vitamin E so that your body can absorb more of it and reap its antioxidant benefits.

Hazelnuts grow on a small deciduous tree originating in southern Europe and Turkey. Hazelnuts are now cultivated in many regions of the world, including the USA as an important commercial crop.

Shelf life: One year if properly stored

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark area. If stored at room temperature, oil may separate--stir before you enjoy! Sprouted nut and seed butters can be refrigerated or frozen to extend freshness.
