Our Philosophy

Most of us know that consuming wholesome and natural foods is good for us, and there is a growing body of scientific evidence to suggest that consuming whole plant-based foods as close to nature as possible is the key to good health and wellness.

Junk food

Unfortunately, many of us, instead of making healthy food choices, often reach for processed and precooked foods, which contributes to nutritional deficiencies, and opens the door for serious health issues such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, etc. In addition to the health problems associated with processed foods, the stresses on our bodies are further amplified by factors such as conventional farming practices that employ pesticides, chemical-based fertilizers, and genetically engineered seeds or crops. Fresh fruits, vegetables, unprocessed grains, nuts, and seeds are laden with nano-particles, pesticides, and herbicides leaving us vulnerable to a series of degenerative diseases and disorders.

Have you ever marveled at the delicious, complex, perfect flavor of an apple from your backyard tree or a local organic farm? Or how about those luscious, bursting-with-flavor tomatoes from your garden? Conventionally grown produce in general just doesn't compare, does it? It often seems that there is an exceptional difference in the freshness, juiciness and taste of “naturally grown” food.

Do you often wish that you had more energy to do all of the things that you would like to do? Of course, we all have our natural limits, but could it be that we don't consume the most nutritious foods possible all of the time, opting for convenience, or indulging purely for taste, more often than we should? Our bodies need nourishment to meet the demands that we place upon them.

There is an increasing awareness of the fact that the nutritive value of most foods consumed today is not the same as it was some decades ago. Solid evidence exists pertaining to the declining nutritive value of the crops over the last 50–100 years. The nutrient deficit created by conventional farming practices on already overworked land reflects itself as nutrient gaps in our diet. This leads to lower energy levels, chronic fatigue and a plethora of major and minor ailments resulting in a disturbing trend in our everyday lives. Given the present scenario, the need for consuming natural, nutrient-dense foods, a good portion of which are raw and grown through environmentally safe practices has never been greater than it is today.

Nature has provided us with bountiful nutrients in the form of superfoods, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds that are known to have remarkable health benefits. Research has consistently underscored that phytonutrients in natural, whole foods have disease-protecting and immune-boosting properties. At Blue Mountain Organics™, we realize the value of preserving the nutritional integrity of food in its natural state. For this reason, many of our products are carefully crafted at temperatures below 108° Fahrenheit to preserve vital enzymes that aid digestion and delicate phytonutrients present in raw foods, thus bringing you nutrient-rich foods as nature had intended them to be. Whenever possible, we further enhance the nutritional value of the foods through the sprouting and low-temperature dehydration process.

We strive to be your best source for nutritious organic food — natural, vital, and bursting with nutrients. Our products are carefully selected and uniquely crafted to provide nutrient-rich healthy snacks. No matter your present health status – excellent, okay, not well, undernourished or overweight — you can improve your health by making the right food choices, and we want to be there to help you to improve your life... one bite at a time.
