Our California-grown Nonpareil almonds are crunchy, naturally sweet, and perfect for snacking. They’re also raw and organic, so all the way from the tree to your mouth, they keep their abundance of vitamins and minerals with nothing fake or fishy added in.
Almonds are a top source of the cancer-fighting antioxidant Vitamin E, and they are also a good source of manganese, folate, copper, B2, phosphorus, biotin, magnesium, and molybdenum. Almonds’ high monounsaturated fat content not only helps absorb all these nutrients, it lowers cholesterol, reduces risk of heart disease, and regulates blood sugar spikes. Plus, plenty of protein and fiber means you won’t be left hungry.
Nonpareil is a sought-after cultivar because of these almonds’ sweet, nutty flavor and pleasing appearance. So scoop up a handful for a snack, sprinkle them on ice cream, salad, or pasta, or feature them in your next raw or cooked dessert-- these premium nuts are a perfect way to boost nutrition and flavor!
Our Better Than Roasted (BTR) sprouting process maximizes the bioavailability of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in our almonds. It also removes bitterness and concentrates flavor, yielding a sweeter, more easily digestible, and more flavorful nut. Read more about our BTR process HERE.
FUN FACT! “Nonpareil” is French for “unparalleled” or “unsurpassed.” The Ancient Egyptians presumably hadn’t heard of this beautiful cultivar, but they seemed to consider almonds in general unsurpassed-- they even supplied King Tut’s tomb with almonds to sustain him in the afterlife.
