Enjoy Truly Raw European Almond Butter drizzled on fruit and ice cream, folded into smoothies and sandwiches, or even better, eaten out of the jar with a spoon!
Our European almonds are completely unpasteurized. Unlike American-grown almonds, which must be briefly heated by USDA standards, they are truly raw and retain all their heat-sensitive probiotics, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals.
Almonds are a top source of the cancer-fighting antioxidant vitamin E, and they are also a good source of manganese, folate, copper, B2, phosphorus, biotin, magnesium, and molybdenum. Almonds’ high monounsaturated fat content not only helps absorb all these nutrients, lowers cholesterol, reduces risk of heart disease, and regulates blood sugar spikes. Plus, plenty of protein and fiber gives you long-term energy without a crash.
Our Better Than Roasted (BTR) sprouting process maximizes the bioavailability of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in our almonds. It also removes bitterness and concentrates flavor, yielding a sweeter, more easily digestible, and more flavorful nut. Read more about our BTR process HERE.
We stone-grind our almonds slowly at low temperatures for the creamiest, most nutritious results-- after all, that’s how nut butter was first made. Read more about the benefits of stone-grinding HERE.
FUN FACT! The Romans referred to almonds as the "Greek nut" in reference to the civilization suggested to have first cultivated them.
