Sweet, sweet almond meal: all the nutrition and rich amaretto flavor of organic European almonds, ground into a versatile flour that’s perfect for cooking, baking, and snacking. Almond meal is great for gluten-free and Paleo baking and can be used as a one-to-one substitute for wheat flour in breads, cookies, cakes, crackers, flatbreads and more. But don’t stop at pastries-- it’s also a delicious stand-in for breadcrumbs and a protein-packed addition to veggie burgers, meatballs, or homemade vegan cheese.

We grind raw, organic European almonds at low temperatures with the skin on, keeping the almonds raw, whole, and packed with all the fiber, vitamins, and minerals of the original.

Almonds are a top source of the cancer-fighting antioxidant Vitamin E, and they are also a good source of manganese, folate, copper, B2, phosphorus, biotin, magnesium, and molybdenum. Almonds’ high monounsaturated fat content not only helps absorb all these nutrients, it lowers cholesterol, reduces risk of heart disease, and regulates blood sugar spikes. Plus, plenty of protein and fiber means you won’t be left hungry.

FUN FACT! Today we use it as a low-carb flour, but almond meal has been around way longer than people have even been thinking about carbs-- it’s beloved in traditional desserts around the world, from sweet Persian almond milk to Italy’s flourless Passover almond cake.
