Almonds are a top source of the cancer-fighting antioxidant vitamin E, and they are also a good source of manganese, folate, copper, B2, phosphorus, biotin, magnesium, and molybdenum. Almonds’ high monounsaturated fat content not only helps absorb all these nutrients, it lowers cholesterol, reduces risk of heart disease, and regulates blood sugar spikes. Plus, plenty of protein and fiber gives you long-term energy without a crash.
Our Better Than Roasted (BTR) sprouting process maximizes the bioavailability of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in our almonds. It also removes bitterness and concentrates flavor, yielding a sweeter, more easily digestible, and more flavorful nut. Read more about our BTR process HERE.
We stone-grind our almonds slowly at low temperatures for the smoothest, most nutritious nut butter possible-- after all, that’s how nut butter was first made. Read about the benefits of stone-grinding HERE.
FUN FACT! For us, almonds are a good hiking snack, but for the Ancient Egyptians, they were a little more… eternal. Almonds were left in pharaohs’ tombs, including King Tut’s, to sustain the kings on their journey to the afterlife.
