Why is My Nutty Mylk so creamy? It’s certainly no thanks to a cow! Almonds may seem hard and crunchy, but they’re real softies at heart. Ours are blanched to remove the skin (which contains nutrient-blocking phytates), then we stone-grind them gently at low temperatures to create a velvety smooth mylk with all the nutrition of a whole, raw almond. Read about the many proven benefits of stone-grinding HERE.

What is that nutrition, exactly? Almonds are a top source of the cancer-fighting antioxidant vitamin E, and they are also a good source of manganese, copper, B2, phosphorus, biotin, magnesium, and molybdenum. Almonds’ high monounsaturated fat content not only helps absorb all these nutrients, it lowers cholesterol, reduces risk of heart disease, and regulates blood sugar spikes. Plus, plenty of protein and fiber means you won’t be left feeling hungry.

Move over, cartons of twenty-ingredient almond mylk...My Nutty Mylk is simple, delicious, additive-free and cost-effective! Just a tablespoon makes a whole 8 oz cup of almond mylk, and a jarful makes two gallons. So get creative! Enjoy it in smoothies, hot chocolate, or even your own homemade salad dressing.

FUN FACT! Almond mylk isn’t new. Since cow’s milk spoils quickly without refrigeration, cooks of the Middle Ages often used almond milk--a welcome, nutrient-rich addition to an otherwise paltry diet.

Shelf life and storage: One year if properly stored in a cool, dry, dark area. If stored at room temperature, oil may separate--stir well before you enjoy! Can be refrigerated or frozen to extend freshness.
